Back to this laptop while shuffling my gifts to my apartment and back with the family for dinner. This didn't happen yesterday as we visited my auntie and godparents for dinner there. Everything went super as my stubborn ol' aunt had got the company she deserves after living alone for a while, though she always denied it. Then we dropped by my cousins' house... no idea why she wanted to put up a curtain in such a busy day.
I must say thank you to welovefine for taking an interest in my artwork. One of which is made as a T-shirt design - this one [link] - and it was such a special opportunity to make this happen. I imagine the other designer-cum artists will say the same for other products on the site, something that us customers would exactly want to wear in many, many years time. It's a win/win for us customer and designer types, we'd think. Thanks again!
Before anything else, this isn't a post to tell you where I'm going with my art in progress. It will take me one more day to get over the holiday mood before I get back to my art/design skills and even start applying for work all over the country. F'rinstance, I'm already due to travel to Birmingham on March for studio open visits and a little... buddy-shopping with
Oh, that reminds me of something. The last present I ever opened was lying on my bedroom desk yesterday afternoon, given to me by another mate. It looked like a DVD case all right - maybe a video game this year? Last time this happened was exactly 10 years ago with my PS2 console and GTA: Vice City the year after. I mean, what could ever top that?
