It's Hot Wouldn't it be very scary for me to forget our Halloween blessings?
I had to put up with lots of crap in the past month, so where do I start? First, my stepdad suffered a heart attack on the 11th but luckily made a good recovery and is now settling in at home. He very rarely took a day off work as a doctor in General Practices until then. More importantly, we're so happy he's managing to recover but don't expect him back in the surgery any longer as he will be retiring soon. That's why we cancelled his car petrol subscription.
I managed to visit him in hospital 6 days after his heart attack. Then I caught a cold just by sleeping in the ward for about half an hour waiting to see him (I think). I then ended up with the hugest mouth ulcer I ever had on my bottom lip; it hurt for 7 days but now it's fully healed. ^^ Like hell I'm catching another cold before Christmas!
Balancing work and college was tricky while I thought of everything that happened since... last week was a half term (for everybody!) but thank God I still had classes. I ended up missing one for work though and I really regretted that. Planning up a dissertation was a nightmare but I finally picked a suitable topic that my tutor won't tear apart like he usually does. As of yesterday I finally got my smile back.
So yeah, screw everyone who had a good October this year. I went through a shockingly, frighteningly frustrating ordeal, but I managed to pull through to the end and I can't wait to settle down once more. Oh, and I turn 22 on Wednesday!
I haven't got any new art pieces to show, save for the ones I'm planning on my Final Project in college. Most of them are no longer necessary for the project 'cause I changed so many ideas for the initial theme (martial arts, fantasy...) but there a a couple that are cool and very different to what I usually come up with here.
