Wow, that Discord is good...

Ahem, I did promise to tell you about my experiences in Madeira 2 weeks ago, so here's a rundown on what me and my family have been up to.

The weather was just as we expected; sun, sea and lots of black sand. The island is only a sixth of the size of my home county so getting around wasn't much of a problem, save for the beautiful peaks up in the north with one of the best swimming spots ever. The biggest highlight for me was probably riding on the speedboat against the most rough waves after a failed trip to sightsee the whales and dolphins. It was an unusually bumpy ride but make no mistake, it definately made up for one little disappointment of not finding (and swimming) with the sea creatures. In fact it almost made me want to have my own jetbike, but where oh where could I bring it to to ride those amazing waves once more? Cornwall? Put me anywhere with an ideal watersport site, then I'm happy. I'm just a beach bum at heart, you know? :)

What else have I done... the man-powered tobaggan ride downhill in the island's capital, Funchal. A cable car ride that revitalised my slight fear of heights - agh, I can't keep a secret anymore ;_;. Took a couple of bus trips across the area with the mountain peaks and a fluent supply of water ditches that ran across the whole island. There was a bar down the road from our hotel with the cheapest drink ever, so we ended up going down there about every 12 hours in a week and watched about eight wedding ceremonies pass by us on evening, and a huge Christian concert gathering the next. I can't really say anything that exciting happens at home, especially without those warm nights.

Though there has been a couple of 'Eff you, it's not that funny' moments like losing my keys to the locker at the bottom of the ocean after doing my hardest to look down onto the shallow end before hopelessly calling for a steward for a spare set. Same cut, mind you, only a small charge of 1 Euro. Another 'Eff you' moment was forgetting my cue to jump into the water and swim with the dolphins on one frustrating morning. Still it wasn't enough to put a real damper on my holiday experiences and we all had a wonderful week with our tans topped up and my tan-through swimmers did indeed work. Er...!

Now a week later, all my Adobe programs are running smoothly again therefore I should get back to enchancing my PV and hopefully make a new website. Whatever I do here are just, um... distractions I have faced to pull through my long-bummed break since April so I hope you can put up with 'em as long as I have. Haha! :) Shout out to :iconrobshi: for whatever reason, my good mate!

Obrigado! ('Thank you!')

Hmm. I'm not that into beaches, but it would be different from the last few international vacations I took, which were mostly urban and focused on museums. I like Spain; maybe I'd like Portugal.

Swimming with dolphins is a slight gamble. Despite their major reputation, they can get aggressive with humans. Sometimes sexually.

Never heard of Reggae Reggae or butties before, but you don't have to explain. Google does.
