The Wisest of the Two-Timin Guys. You won't get it if you don't know my email address.

GUYS! It's me! :D

You know when things are quiet around here when university time makes up a life of itself, right? I am now done with uni for the summer until I go back in September but before I go on, that does not mean that I am less busy than before. For the next three months I am looking for voluntary / work experiences related to my field of study, which is graphics and multimedia design. Nothing has come up in the past month so I'm still trying to contact more GD services out there and while I'm at it, make more of an attempt to boost my online profile with a personal webpage and entering contests to improve my portfolio. I DO have a site up, but it's buggy as hell and I need to give it a look later on. And I'm tired of all the Facebooks and Twitters of the world so I'm concentrating on building my profile against a collective point of view, know what I mean?

Searching for opportunities to sell yourself in a world where it's already so tough to give you a chance to experience work (while upping your chances to get that career you waited for so long) 'cause of insurance or lack of excuses... it's kind of getting to me but why not stop moaning about it and at least take that time to make designs in my own time before a big moment comes up?

And er... nothing else to say about that.

What else is going on with me at the mo?

Hence this new blog in a long while, I am starting to pick up the motivation to post things up here. Now I did tons of drawing between then and now, just perfecting and polishing some of my OC's and tell you what grinds my gears. There's one project I'm taking part in here and a comission to finish off there, so that's a good start. Heh, I'm sort of re-introducing myself here! :) You know my guy - SteC the MMA-loving long-eared jerboa!!

I have a mate's wedding coming up in August and I'll be his best man. Just shut up the crap up about the fuc-ing speech and I'll get to work on it, okay? :)

A vacation at Portugal in mid-September (and I never take a vacation!) and back just in time for uni!

Before I log out, for those from a GD background, can anyone recommend me any contemporary graphic designers out there? It's sort of my weakness that I love the past what with Yoshitaka Amano and etc. but I am rubbish with keeping on top of today's talents. Know what, I'm gonna subscribe to a GD magazine right now... ;D

Well, look out for me soon. If you're real lucky, that is.

Hey Ste! It's great to see how things are with ya. I really should update my blog here and get everyone up to speed.

So our mate's wedding is in August eh? He's made no attempt to tell me if I'm even invited or not...I sincerely hope I am welcome there. *scowls and growls*

I'm awaiting the decision on my PGCE interview whilst trying not to kill myself with worry over what job I want and can do...oh well, I'm feeling okay about things right now.

Finally, we need to meet up again soon! I want to get out of the house for a little bit and get some fresh air and have fun!

Doing my best not to boast but something's come up with an intern in town next week, and it would've never happened if I hadn't gone to Brampton last Monday. :P

Ugh...I wish I had some luck with my job searching. I just found out I was unsuccessful with my PGCE interview tonight. :(

Aww, too bad it didn't work out well. :( Are you searching for another venue yet? Don't forget if you have the time and effort, visiting other work firms are bound to lead you somewhere. Have another place in mind?

Not really, I tried an application to Durham but I think I was too late in making my application. I'm looking at the Open University but I'm feeling like I'm chasing an empty promise right now.

Oy...it's really difficult to find anything local for me since I live in the middle of nowhere. :(
